The High Court of Botswana made a final judgement in favor of Vlatacom on the defamatory articles published in 2015 by Mmegi newspaper and Botswana Gazette
The Botswana High Court has ruled on January 31st, 2020 in favor of Vlatacom against the Botswana Gazette and Mmegi for publishing defamatory articles against Vlatacom. They alleged that Vlatacom was involved with accepting P500 million to secure Botswana government databases (Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)) and that Vlatacom did not deliver any services but collected payment.
